What is it?
Free play night is a chance for non-members musicians to come play alongside active NGSO members as we start rehearsing a new season of music. We’ll all be learning new music together, so there’s no expectation of having practiced the repertoire prior to the event. Anyone, musician or not, is welcome to come and listen to the rehearsal.

Who can play?
Anyone 13 or older is invited to play in the event. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All instruments are welcome, but we have the greatest need for orchestral strings, brass, and woodwinds.

Where to go?
The event will be held on October 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at the Frank C. Godfrey American Legion Post 12 (60 Cross St. Norwalk, CT). Please park on the east side of the building (the driveway on the right when facing the building from the street). To enter our rehearsal space, go up the ramp at the back of the building.

What to bring?
Musicians should bring their instrument and a music stand. Music will be provided.

RSVP?
RSVP is appreciated but not required. Simply email play@norwalkgso.org letting us know you’re coming and what instrument you play. This helps us ensure we have enough sheet music for everyone.

Looking forward to making music with you!
